The 2024 St. Olaf Christmas Festival will return to , taking place at Skoglund Auditorium. The 2025 St. Olaf Christmas Festival will also be held on campus. Then, we plan to initiate a two-year rotation between the two venues: two years at Minneapolis’s Orchestra Hall, followed by two years on campus, and so on.

The 2024 St. Olaf Christmas Festival performances will take place at Skoglund Auditorium on Friday, December 6 at 7:30 p.m., Saturday, December 7 at 3 p.m., and Sunday, December 8 at 3 p.m.
The performances are approximately two hours long with no intermission.
Children ages 10 and older are welcome to attend the performances in 2024.

During the presale, there is a limit of four total tickets per individual for the Friday, Saturday, or Sunday performances (not four tickets per performance). This limit is lifted when tickets go on sale to the general public on November 11.
Tickets for the St. Olaf Christmas Festival can be exchanged through the Music Organizations box office, pending ticket availability. Tickets are non-refundable, but can be returned to the box office via the ticketing site or emailing christmas-festival@stolaf.edu.

The ticket presale for the 2024 Christmas Festival will take place the week of November 4. The general public will be able to purchase tickets on November 11, beginning at 9 a.m. CT.
Due to high demand, we highly encourage you to purchase tickets on the day you gain access to the 2024 presale.
The ticket presale is open to St. Olaf students, parents, faculty, staff, retirees, alumni, volunteers, and donors.
If you are eligible for the presale, you will receive an email with information on your presale date, and will be sent out in October with access information for ticket purchasing.
St. Olaf College Students who are not performing in the Christmas Festival are eligible for one complimentary ticket.
In previous years, St. Olaf employees, emeriti, and retired staff have been eligible for two complimentary tickets to the Christmas Festival. This year, complimentary tickets for faculty and staff are limited to more fully accommodate our student and parent community. Employees, emeriti, and retired staff are able to reserve one complimentary ticket.

Buntrock Ballrooms: A traditional Scandinavian buffet dinner will be available by reservation and ticket purchase December 6, 7, and 8 in the Black, Gold, and Sun ballrooms located in Buntrock Commons. Two seatings will be available prior to each Christmas Festival performance. Please select your seating date and time after purchasing your tickets to the buffet. Seatings will last 75 minutes. Stav Dining Hall: Throughout the weekend Stav Hall will also feature a few highlights of the Scandinavian Buffet for $16.95. Guests can pay directly at the dining hall entrance during Friday dinner (4:30 – 7:00 p.m.), and Saturday & Sunday brunch (11 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.).
Shuttles will also run from Buntrock Commons to Skoglund Auditorium prior to the performances.

Yes, a pre-order is available to purchase the CD recording of the 2024 St. Olaf Christmas Festival. The CD will ship in early 2025.

Prefer the feel of a paper ticket? No worries, you can still download and print PDF tickets by logging into your account on the Eventbrite website and going to Tickets. We recommend using a laptop for this process.

Yes. Pre-orders of the 2024 Christmas Festival CD will be available for purchase online. Due to the timeline of this year’s Festival, CDs will not be shipped until after Christmas.
The St. Olaf Bookstore will begin selling the 2024 St. Olaf Christmas Festival on CD in 2025.
Yes, an on-demand streaming version of this year’s performance will be released on December 18 at 7 p.m. and will be available for viewing for one year at https://christmas.stolaf.edu/
