Radio

Minnesota Public Radio (MPR) will present a live broadcast of the 2016 St. Olaf Christmas Festival on Sunday, December 4, at 3 p.m. The broadcast can be heard on most regional classical music stations, including 99.5 KSJN in the Twin Cities. An encore broadcast will air December 22 at 10 a.m. Both broadcasts can be heard online.

National radio broadcasts of the St. Olaf Christmas Festival are distributed by American Public Media. If you are outside of the MPR listening area, check local listings to see if it will be carried in your region.

Special Sing For Joy Radio Program

St. Olaf College’s Sing For Joy produces a half-hour program of music for the Advent and Christmas season that features highlights from the 2015 St. Olaf Christmas Festival. Many stations across the country will carry this broadcast. Visit singforjoy.org or check your local listings for details.

Television

Twin Cities Public Televisiontpt-new-logo will rebroadcast Christmas in Norway with the St. Olaf Choir as part of this year’s holiday programming. Filmed in Norway’s Nidaros Cathedral, this 2013 TPT production features the St. Olaf Choir alongside Nidarosdomens Jentekor, the resident girls choir from the cathedral. Check local TV listings to see if it will be carried in your region.
